I added an arrangement I'd suggest. I'm the lady Redditor from the original thread with the flower meanings. Palace Florist is family owned, also, so sends a good message- and we should spread this out, ordering from multiple privately owned florists, so that the impact of all the delivery trucks pulling up at once is greater.

I'd say do only roses. Get them all the same. And don't worry about expensive displays. Roses should be about $20 a dozen at the most, and maybe another five or ten for a vase and delivery. With the near $3,000 raised, it would be a striking photo.

How about 'Helen Thomas deserves some flowers', thats what the donation title says, thats what people have donated money to, that is what the money should be spent on, FLOWERS !!! - just_one_voice

How about the charity idea? I think she'd be pretty tickled if some of the money actually went to a good cause.

Um, hey, what happened to the suggestions that used to be there? Now there's only the one pdf and no links to other Redditors' suggestions. Did you at least save those links?
